COACHING COURSES
We have a policy of giving our coaches the
opportunity to develop to their full potential. All coaches are encouraged
to attend RFU coaching courses, and refresher sessions will be held during the
season. Check the website for news of forthcoming coaching events.

RUGBY COACH
Colchester RFC has recently subscribed to Rugby
Coach, a regular newsletter packed with coaching tips and
advice. We can forward these newsletters to coaches at no extra
cost. To start receiving Rugby Coach, send an e-mail to colchester.rfc@ntlworld.com
stating your name and telephone number (to verify that you are a paid up
member), and that you want to be put on the Rugby Coach mailing list.
PAID COACHING
There are opportunities to earn money through
coaching. We need qualified coaches to deliver programmes to children at local
primary school and special schools, and to girls at local secondary
school. We also need coaches to run after schools clubs in primary
schools. Funds are available to pay coaches who run these sessions for the
club.
If you are thinking about taking up coaching, or want to know more about our schools programme, call Tim Grimsey on 07811 388291 and he will tell you what it is all about.
