An illustrious list of guests have accepted invitations to Colchester Rugby Club's pre-match lunches organised for the forthcoming season. Club President Chum Borges has received confirmations from the President of the Rugby Football Union, The Mayor of Colchester, Members of Parliament Bob Russell and Bernard Jenkin, and the President of Eastern Counties Rugby Union.
The first lunch is on 11 September when Colchester take on local rivals Mersea Island in the opening league game of the season. It is sure to be a popular day and many places for lunch have already been taken.
